Salida Gulch Trailhead

Salida Gulch Rock Art
Near Lynx Lake are two Indian sites. One is a hilltop ruin and the other is a petroglyphs site in Salida Gulch. This is an easy hiking trail that leads to a small rock outcropping along the gulch. About 15 minutes up the trail on the left is the site and you can’t miss the rock art displays. Here probably 1000 years ago, Hohokam men probably drew these symbols.
