Antelope Creek Waterfall

The creek that flows trough Old Cordes eventually creates a 75 foot waterfall near Bumble Bee. Some mistakenly refer to this drainage as Bumble Bee Creek or Bumble Bee Falls. You can travel an old jeep trail to the falls. At times the jeep trail floods and might require a longer walk. Near the parking point, is an rock outcrop with petroglyphs. Over a thousand years ago, Indians also enjoyed this spot. Follow the wash upstream about 1/4 of a mile. This waterfall flows after snow melt and rain. During periods of drought I have seen it dry. Below the falls is a large natural swimming pool. On weekends I usually see people at this location but seldom during the week. A beautiful and interesting location, not far off the Crown King Road.
